Welcome to villa Casa Tabiki, your luxurious holiday beach villa at Playa Coson in Las Terrenas, Samana. Designed by the well-known architect Roger Peeters of Belgium.
A spacious luxury villa with six bedrooms and six bathrooms en suite, a beautiful beachfront house for ourselves, our friends, family and guests to enjoy.
The villa with swimmingpool is at a unique location on Playa Coson, a beautiful 10 km, palm fringed, quiet beach with clear, turquoise waters. You will love lounging on the terrace, staring at the ever changing ocean, strolling along the sands on your 'own' beach and swimming, snorkeling or surfing in the warm waves.
The beachfront villa is built on the Punta Coson beach a few hunderd metres from the Wyndham hotel and only 10 minutes from Las Terrenas town.
The ocean in front of the house is great for swimming all year round with a sandy bottom and little or no current. When there are no waves there is good snorkeling at the reef.
At the back of the house is a little river with a mangrove forest. A short walk on the beach leads to the place where two rivers come together, aptly named 'Dos Rios'. There is a shack that serves snacks and drinks. This is a wonderful place to watch the sunset.
Las Terrenas, a resort enclave on the Samana Peninsula, has a Mediterranean-influenced atmosphere with a lively bar and restaurant scene.
The mile-long beach runs the length of Las Terrenas and, due to an exuberant nightlife, is mostly deserted during the day except for a few resort staff members entertaining guests on the sands.
Even quieter options are nearby. Punta Popi and Playa Las Ballenas, located on opposite ends of the strip, see a little less traffic than the main beach, while you may have nearly deserted Playa Bonita (which lies around the bend to the west) and best of all Playa Coson all to yourself.
The area includes tropical rainforest and must be accessed by one of two mountain roads.
Things to do:
Coson at the top 10 of Dominican Republic beaches is another stretch of beautiful sands, even less populated than neighboring Playa Bonita.
Beginning north of Playa Bonita and continuing for another four miles, the powdery sands end at the base of rugged cliffs forming a protected area for safe snorkeling and kite surfing.
